Responsible for providing project management of various systems deployment and enhancement projects for the Transitions and Transformations group with PS&S.  This includes:

§ Deployment of a new Local Cloud Platform infrastructure in Dallas and Sunnyvale, CA,

§ Deployment of Disaster Recovery systems in Sunnyvale for client systems located in the Dallas Data Center,

§ Deployment of a new Retail as a Service (RaaS) infrastructure,

§ Migration of a client’s mainframe applications from an existing provider to a Fujitsu data center,

§ Enhancement of self service provisioning portals for Fujitsu and clients,

Responsible for providing IT business analysis and project management support to the City’s Police and Fire Departments.  Specific efforts over the duration of this job included:

§ Led the design and implementation of a new fiber optics based communications system at the Police Make Ready and Maintenance Shop,

§ Performed the business analysis and managed the development and implementation of a new computerized tracking system for the Police Training and Weapons Qualification Center,

§ Led the design, implementation and migration project for a global Active Directory project based on Microsoft Active Directory,

§ Directed the development and implementation of a DSL/server based point of sale system at three store locations, a warehouse, and headquarters.

§ Developed and implemented standardized applications to facilitate reports and communication processes between the stores, the warehouse, and the headquarters,

§ Led the development and implementation of a materials management and logistics process to facilitate expedited information exchange between the company locations and the vendors.

Level 3 Communications/Genuity Solutions, Inc.  – Lewisville, TX

PROGRAM MANAGER – BUSINESS OPERATIONS (1999-2003)

Responsible for leading the Business Operations group within the Facilities Design & Construction/Materials Management & Logistics department.

§ This position directed a team that was chartered with managing the business operations functionality within the department for all of the construction projects on a nationwide data network.
